You no longer have to add and remove people one at a time. With Directory Sync, your identity provider becomes the source of truth for who has access to Nomic — connect Azure AD / Entra, Okta, or any SCIM directory, and membership changes flow in automatically.

When someone joins the right group they are provisioned into your workspace, and when they leave their access is revoked — no manual cleanup, no stranded seats. Sessions now carry a file sidebar with a full file tree, so everything attached to a conversation is one click away. Open two files in a split view to compare them side by side — a spec next to the drawing it governs, or two revisions of the same sheet — without leaving the chat.

Nomic now tells you when something needs your attention. A notification inbox and toasts surface when you are added to a project or workflow and when a spend request is waiting on you, so approvals and hand-offs no longer depend on someone sending a message.

Hand Nomic a contractor submittal and the governing documents, and it returns a marked-up submittal plus a review report in chat with an approval recommendation — every finding cited back to the spec paragraph, drawing detail, or submittal page it came from. Learn more about Submittal Review.

Drawing-review markups are more flexible: edit annotation text directly on the sheet or in the sidebar, and Nomic can set annotation colors so different issue types stand out at a glance — or color-code by reviewer so it's clear whose markups are whose. Learn more about drawing review.

Rollouts used to live in decks, Notion pages, and email threads that drift from what's actually configured — SSO looks done in a doc while the instance still has none. The Implementation Hub puts the plan in the product instead: a shared, phased checklist in Admin that your team and Nomic's delivery team both work from, from initial setup through expansion.

Tasks the instance can verify — SSO connected, integrations live, spend limits set, workflows published — check themselves off as they become true, so status reflects the tenant, not a manual update. Your BIM models now live alongside your drawings and documents — no separate tool, no exports. Upload an IFC model and Nomic indexes it automatically, opening it in an interactive 3D viewer you can navigate right in the browser and keep open next to the rest of your project.

Importantly, you can also put the model to work: ask questions about elements, quantities, and properties, or have Nomic run clash detection to surface conflicts across it. And you can go straight from an answer to the exact geometry behind it — when Nomic cites a BIM element, the citation is clickable and opens the 3D viewer with that element already selected. Nomic can now produce finished deliverables, not just answers. A new drafting capability generates polished, well-designed presentations and documents and exports them to PowerPoint (PPTX) and PDF — so the output of a review, analysis, or summary is a file you can share with your team or client, ready to go.

Nomic's drawing review already finds the issues buried in your drawing sets — now you can act on them without leaving the systems your team lives in. Once Nomic surfaces findings across a set, you can send them straight back to Autodesk Forma, Fieldwire, and Bentley ProjectWise as native issues, so the same integrations that bring your project data into Nomic now carry the results back out.

Nomic is now available with data residency in the European Union and the United Kingdom. Customers with regional data-handling requirements can have their tenant hosted in-region, keeping project data within EU or UK boundaries while getting the same Nomic experience. Two new templates take on some of the most tedious parts of preconstruction.

RFI Anticipator reviews your construction drawings and specs for the missing, ambiguous, or conflicting information that typically becomes an RFI during construction, and produces cited findings, supporting inventories, and a summary report — so you can resolve questions before they cost you time in the field.

Submittal Log Generator reads a full project manual, enriched by drawings and addenda, and extracts every submittal requirement into an Excel-ready submittal log — each item classified, assigned to a responsible trade, and flagged for long lead times, alongside a navigable section index and an executive summary. The Assistant's codes and standards capability is now available throughout the product. Turn it on to have Nomic check work against building codes and select the relevant jurisdiction — in the Assistant chat bar, inside workflows and the workflow builder, and through the API. Nomic's developer API now supports running and orchestrating the Nomic agent programmatically. Launch an agent with a prompt and files, select a workflow, and retrieve structured results — documents, tables, PDF markups, and conversation history — all through simple REST endpoints. You can now connect engineering and construction project data directly to Nomic through two new integrations. Fieldwire syncs plans, files, photos, and specs from your Fieldwire projects. Projects have received a major overhaul. Each project now has its own dedicated sidebar, a files and context page, and built-in workflow support. Create, assign, and run workflows directly within a project.
